Venue Information
Our Administration office is open from 7am-5pm Monday to Friday. Operational hours are determined by events held at the Centre.

Adelaide Convention Centre is a card only venue. Payment is accepted via card only for all onsite orders and requests, including car parking, food and beverage. All credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Android Pay are accepted, no surcharge.
Attending an event
Adelaide Convention Centre is located on North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000 near the Adelaide Railway Station. To see Adelaide Convention Centre on a map, click here.
By public transport
Adelaide has an extensive public transport system of buses, trains and trams, operated by Adelaide Metro. The tram is free to travel on within the city centre, with the closest tram stop conveniently located a two-minute walk from the Centre, in front of the historic Adelaide Railway Station.
From the airport
Adelaide Airport is located just 6km away from the Adelaide Convention Centre, approximately 15 min drive from the airport. Adelaide Metro also offers a convenient Adelaide Airport bus service, including the city bus services (bus J1 and J2) which pass through the Adelaide city centre. If you’re looking to venture out and explore the state as part of your visit, renting a car is a great option. Plan your visit and check out the car parking options at Adelaide Convention Centre before your event. To hire a car, you can visit the following companies which have desks at the airport:

If you’re planning to spend your stay in the city, you’ll best experience Adelaide walking or booking short car rides. Taxis can be booked for pick-up or drop-off at Adelaide Convention Centre, with a taxi rank located right in front of the Centre’s main entrance off North Terrace.
Yes, Adelaide Convention Centre has two designated undercover car parks: The North Terrace and Riverbank car park.
Both car parks are located directly under the Centre and operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Each car park is fitted with video surveillance camera systems and security patrols both areas.
Automated payment stations are available in both car parks and accept payment via card only. All credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Android Pay are accepted, no surcharge.
Please note that our car parks can reach capacity early in the day during busy events.

Unfortunately we are not able to reserve individual car parking spaces on a casual basis. For permanent parking options, please contact our team.
A limited number of bicycle parking racks are located at the Main (East) Entrance and West Entrance of Adelaide Convention Centre.
Motorcycle parking is available within both car parks. The same rates apply whether parking a car or motorcycle.
Yes. Adelaide Convention Centre offers complimentary Wi-Fi that can be accessed throughout the venue.Â
Adelaide Convention Centre has multiple entrances (West, Central and East).
Although you can use any entrance, for ease of access we recommend checking our sitemap for a visual reference of the centre.

Accessibility
Yes, Adelaide Convention Centre is an accessible venue, offering a range of accessible facilities and services to deliver experiences everyone can enjoy. You can request assistance from our Floor Ambassadors, organised prior to your event for convenience or upon arrival.

Yes, both of Adelaide Convention Centre’s undercover car parks offer accessible parking spaces. The accessible parking spaces are located near lifts with access to Adelaide Convention Centre.

Yes, Adelaide Convention Centre is a mobility friendly and wheelchair accessible venue.Â
All levels in our building are accessible via lifts and escalators.Â
Stage ramping, portable wheelchair lifts and wheelchair hire can also be arranged.
Accessible toilets are located across all three levels.Â
The Centre is fitted out with digital and braille signage along with an audible PA system, to guide sensory impaired guests around the venue. Braille signage can be arranged in the event space, and hearing augmentation systems are also available upon request. An audible PA system is installed throughout the centre and used in the event of an emergency.
Service animals are welcome at Adelaide Convention Centre, at the owner’s responsibility.

All of our team members are trained to recognize the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower symbol and understand the needs of individuals with hidden disabilities, equipping them to offer appropriate support, understanding, and adjustments when needed.

Facilities
Adelaide Convention Centre has trained and qualified first aid staff readily available and is fitted out with onsite First Aid facilities. First aid kits, defibrillators and wheelchairs are also available. First aid rooms are located throughout the venue and are available for use 24/7. If you require access to a first aid room, please see a Floor Ambassador onsite.
We offer accessible, purpose-built rooms for mothers and caregivers. These rooms are available for feeding, changing and privacy during events, and are recognised by the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
We have plenty of conveniently located charging stations for laptops and mobiles phones around the venue.
Private prayer rooms are available upon request.
We have 5 meeting pods across Adelaide Convention Centre, that are free for our visitors to use at any time. Our meeting pods also include charging stations for your convenience.
We have complimentary coat check and luggage storage for our visitors at the main reception.
Male and female toilets, including all gender and accessible toilets, are located throughout Adelaide Convention Centre.

MOD – Australia’s leading future-focused museum, only a 2-minute stroll from Adelaide Convention Centre.
Adelaide Zoo – one of Adelaide’s most iconic attractions, is home to more than 2,400 animals and 200 species is only a minute walk from Adelaide Convention Centre.

If you would like to purchase food, coffee or drinks outside of your event, there is a wide range of dining options near Adelaide Convention Centre.
Located immediately underneath the Centre’s East Building, Home Ground is a thriving dining precinct where the city meets the riverbank. Open daily from 8am, Home Ground serves up relaxed indoor and alfresco dining, complemented by stunning river views. It’s the perfect spot for a meal or a rejuvenating break between sessions.
Adelaide’s famous food market and Chinatown precinct is a must visit, located a comfortable walk through the city’s heart or short tram ride from the Centre. One of the largest undercover fresh produce markets in the Southern Hemisphere, the Adelaide Central Market is a buzzing foodie paradise with over 70 traders under one roof.
Other
Adelaide Convention Centre is a no smoking and no vaping venue. This includes the use of e-cigarettes, e-cigars and vape pens. Smoking is only permitted at designated areas outside the venue ensuring an exclusion zone of at least five metres is maintained from entry and exit doors. On the spot fines apply to users of these devices within the building or within five metres of entry and exit doors.Â
