$4.4 billion will be invested into the Riverbank Precinct of Adelaide creating a roadmap of renewal over the next 20 years.

Incorporating the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), the new Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), The University of Adelaide Medical School and the UniSA Health Innovation Building – the medical precinct is set to become the largest in the Southern Hemisphere.

It will join the greater Riverbank Precinct over the Morphett Street Bridge which comprises the expanded Adelaide Convention Centre and esteemed university campuses along North Terrace, as well as entertainment and cultural centres; the upgraded Adelaide Oval, the Adelaide Festival Centre and the Adelaide Casino.

The Adelaide Convention Centre seamlessly integrates within the precinct due to its central location and ease of access.
