The Adelaide Convention Centre is at the heart of one of Australia’s most exciting new precinct, where arts, sport, entertainment, education and medical facilities create non-stop activity.

We offer sweeping views of the River Torrens, with key areas opening directly onto the new Riverbank Promenade, which was created as part of the State Government’s $4.4 billion, 20-year investment in developing the Riverbank Precinct as a centre for community events

Across the river, and linked by a footbridge, is the recently redeveloped Adelaide Oval, which is now one of the most in-demand sporting and concert venues in the country.

Immediately to our east lie Festival Centre, Adelaide Casino, the Houses of Parliament and the sweeping grounds of Government House. Then begins the walk along the cultural boulevard of North Terrace, where you will find the State Library, SA Museum, Art Gallery, two universities, the Botanic Gardens, the National Wine Centre and the Zoological Gardens.

To our west is a world-class medical and research hub built around the new South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute, the soon to be completed Royal Adelaide Hospital and complementary university research facilities.

And to our south, across North Terrace, lies the CBD, where shops and office share the spaces with top-quality restaurants and funky laneway bars and cafes.

Few convention centres anywhere in the world are so truly a part of their city. Read more about the Riverbank Precinct at
