The Adelaide Convention Centre was the first purpose-built convention facility in Australia and it continues to set the standard.
We have just installed Australia’s largest portable plenary seating for 1000 people, the world’s first three-dimensional retractable lighting grid and the same media network used to broadcast Formula 1 car racing around the globe.
That means truly high definition video and audio in our West Building halls.
Whatever the event and whatever the size, we can adapt and customise spaces to host thousands for a conference, up to 3500 for a seated concert, hundreds (or even thousands) for a gala dinner, or if needed just 10 for a business meeting.
We can also help with the ambience. We are unique in Australia in offering services to theme or brand your event and create signage. Virtually all services are run inhouse – from catering, to IT to branding support – allowing us to provide unrivalled coordination and efficiency.
Food and beverage options are of the highest quality, with 98% of produce sourced locally.
Our setting in the heart of Adelaide’s Riverbank Precinct is fantastic too. Activity currently focuses on the Central Building and striking new West Building, while the Original Building is making space for a brand new East Building. When the project is completed in 2017 we’ll have a total floor space of 20,000 sqm, a new plenary hall for 3500 delegates and a sky bridge connecting the three buildings.
