The AFL Draft will return to Adelaide after nearly 20 years with Adelaide Convention Centre to play host to the 2000 members of the local football community, AFL Club members and fans expected to attend.

It will be only the second time the Draft has been hosted in Adelaide.

The Adelaide Convention Centre will support the efforts of the AFL to attract more fans to the event which will also be screened live on Fox Footy and streamed live on AFL.com.au

Overlooking the new Adelaide Oval, the home of AFL in South Australia, the national exposure will showcase the Centre’s place at the heart of the revitalised Riverbank Precinct.

The Draft will be held on November 24 and the AFL will stage supporting events in the days leading up to it, including the CEO’s conference, media manager’s conference, coaching clinics and NAB AFL Auskick clinic.
