New Regattas Bistro Manager at Adelaide Convention Centre:

Carmen Kirk has joined Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) as the Manager of multi award-winning Regattas Bistro.

With nearly 10 years' in the hospitality industry, most recently as the Manager of Citrus Restaurant in Hutt Street, Ms Kirk has the expertise to ensure Regattas continues to meet and exceed the expectations of diners.

"It's a thrill to work with Matt Fryar, one of the most innovative and inspiring chefs around, and a team of waiting staff who pride themselves on friendly service at a consistently high standard," Ms Kirk said.

"We've just launched our new menu which features South Australian produce and a contemporary wine list which matches the modern and fresh dishes that we are renowned for."

Regattas Bistro is a stylish, contemporary restaurant popular with local residents, in-house delegates and exhibitors alike, offering indoor and outdoor seating with fabulous river and parkland views across to historic Adelaide Oval

Welcoming Ms Kirk, Adelaide Convention Centre Chief Executive Alec Gilbert said he was pleased that Regattas Bistro, which has won numerous awards including Best Modern Australian at the 2007 Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence, would be led by someone with so much experience in the hospitality industry.
