Brenton Myers has joined Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) as its new Occupational, Health and Safety Manager.
Mr Myers brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked more than 13 years' in occupational, health and safety for a variety of industries ranging from the Police Department through to Adelaide Poultry.
Adelaide Convention Centre Chief Executive Alec Gilbert said occupational, health and safety was an important issue for the Centre with staff working in various environments from kitchens through to large exhibition halls where displays and stages needed to be built and chairs, tables and other objects moved around.
"OH&S is an issue at the top of the agenda for Adelaide Convention Centre and we are delighted to welcome Mr Myers who brings an enormous amount of experience to the position."
