AmCham is Australia's largest international Chamber of Commerce, with over 1,700 corporate members. We provide assistance to US and Australian companies and work to promote trade, commerce and investment between Australia and the US and in the Asia Pacific region. A complementary and important function is to assist local businesses prosper by strategic networking. Membership of AmCham provides access to a world-wide network through our affiliation with the United States Chamber of Commerce, which links with other chambers of commerce throughout the United States.

AmCham also has extensive links and affiliations with Australian industry organisations. Through the Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC), AmCham Australia is involved in issues that affect American and Australian businesses operating in the Asia-Pacific region.
